Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 22 October 2026

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply when you book or use shipping, delivery, or related services provided by Global Delivery (“Global Delivery,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By booking a shipment or using our services, you agree to these Terms.

Legal entity: [Full registered company name]
Registered address: [Business address]
Customer service contact: [Email address and telephone number]

Our services

We arrange or provide the collection, handling, transport, tracking, and delivery of shipments. Depending on the service you select, we may use our own staff, vehicles, facilities, or other carriers and delivery partners.

The service, price, and delivery estimate for a shipment will be shown or confirmed when you book. Any delivery estimate is an estimate unless we expressly confirm a guaranteed delivery service in writing.

Booking a shipment

The person or business booking a shipment is the “Customer.” The Customer must provide accurate and complete information, including the sender’s and recipient’s names, addresses, contact details, parcel description, weight, dimensions, value, and any required customs information.

The Customer must check that the booking confirmation and shipping label are correct. We may charge additional fees, delay or return a shipment, or be unable to complete delivery if the information is inaccurate or incomplete.

If you book a shipment on behalf of another person or business, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms on their behalf.

Packaging and shipment contents

The Customer is responsible for ensuring that each parcel is safely and securely packaged, correctly labelled, and suitable for the chosen service and expected handling.

The Customer must not send goods that are illegal, dangerous, restricted, inadequately packaged, or prohibited by our service rules or applicable law. This includes items such as explosives, illegal drugs, weapons, and hazardous materials unless we have expressly agreed in writing to carry them under an approved service.

We may refuse, hold, return, or dispose of a shipment if we reasonably believe it contains prohibited or unsafe goods, or if handling it would breach the law or place people, property, or other shipments at risk. Any action will be subject to applicable law.

Prices, payment, duties, and taxes

The Customer must pay the quoted charges and any additional amounts that apply to the shipment, such as remote-area fees, storage, return, re-delivery, customs duties, taxes, or costs arising from inaccurate shipment details.

Unless the booking states otherwise, the Customer is responsible for customs duties and taxes. Where permitted, if we pay charges on the Customer’s behalf, the Customer must reimburse us.

Payment is due using the method and by the date shown at booking or on the invoice. We may suspend or refuse further services for overdue amounts, subject to applicable law.

Collection and delivery

The Customer must make the shipment available for collection at the agreed time and place. The recipient must be available to receive the shipment when delivery is attempted.

We may deliver a shipment to the recipient, an authorised representative, or another suitable person at the delivery address, where permitted by the service and applicable law. If delivery cannot be completed, we may contact the Customer or recipient to arrange another attempt, collection, return, or other available option. Additional charges may apply.

The Customer is responsible for providing accurate delivery instructions. We are not responsible for failing to follow instructions that are unclear, incomplete, unsafe, or not supported by the chosen service.

Tracking and delivery estimates

Tracking information is provided to help follow a shipment’s progress. Tracking may not update continuously or immediately.

Delivery estimates are based on information available when the shipment is booked. Delays may occur due to weather, traffic, operational disruption, customs checks, security measures, incorrect information, or other events outside our reasonable control.

Customs and international shipments

For international shipments, the Customer must provide complete and accurate customs declarations, invoices, permits, and other documents required for the route and goods.

The Customer is responsible for complying with import, export, sanctions, and customs requirements that apply to the shipment. We may share shipment information with carriers, customs brokers, and government authorities as needed to move or clear the shipment.

A shipment may be delayed, inspected, charged additional fees, returned, or seized by authorities. We are not responsible for decisions made by customs or government authorities.

Cancellations, changes, and returns

A booking may be changed or cancelled before collection, subject to the service terms and any charges shown at booking. Once a shipment has been collected or entered the transport network, we may be unable to stop, redirect, or return it.

If a shipment cannot be delivered, we may arrange a return or another delivery attempt. The Customer is responsible for any applicable return, storage, or re-delivery charges.

Loss, damage, delay, and claims

Please notify us as soon as possible if a shipment is lost, damaged, delayed, or delivered incorrectly. Provide the booking reference and any supporting information, such as photographs or proof of value.

Claims must be made within the time limits that apply under the law and the service booked. [Insert any additional claim process or deadline only after confirming it is lawful for the relevant routes and services.]

Our responsibility for loss, damage, or delay is subject to applicable law and any mandatory transport convention. Where the law allows, our liability may be limited according to the service booked and the type of loss. [Insert any contractual liability limits, declared-value options, or compensation terms after legal review.]

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where doing so is prohibited by law, or removes rights that cannot legally be excluded. Optional shipment insurance, if offered, is governed by its own terms.

Events outside our control

We are not responsible for a failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as severe weather, natural disasters, war, civil unrest, strikes, public emergencies, government action, customs inspections, or interruptions to transport or communications networks.

We will take reasonable steps to reduce the impact of such events and continue or resume the service when reasonably possible.

Our responsibility and your responsibility

You are responsible for losses or costs that result from your breach of these Terms, inaccurate shipment information, prohibited goods, inadequate packaging, or failure to meet customs or legal requirements, to the extent permitted by law.

We are responsible for providing the services with reasonable care and skill, subject to these Terms and applicable law. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses where the law allows that exclusion.

Personal information

We use personal information to book, transport, track, and deliver shipments, handle payments and enquiries, and meet legal requirements. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information: [link to Privacy Policy].

Complaints and dispute resolution

If you have a complaint, contact us at [complaints email or telephone number] with your shipment reference and details of the issue. We will review the complaint and respond within a reasonable time.

These Terms are governed by the laws of [country or state], except where mandatory law requires otherwise. The courts of [country or state] will hear disputes, subject to any consumer rights or mandatory rules that apply.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will be posted on our website with its updated date. Changes will not affect a shipment already accepted by us unless the law requires otherwise or you agree to the change.
